All of the GMRS radios we sell at Buy Two Way Radios operate on the same 22 GMRS channels and frequencies assigned by the FCC. Many of these models support the 8 FCC assigned GMRS repeater channels as well. We are sometimes asked for the exact frequencies of these channels. The chart below lists these frequencies, along with their channel numbers, maximum allowable power, and maximum allowable bandwidth.

Does or is the an horse repeater working? I have a 5w wt and live on Senate RoD about Costco. Should I be able go hit the reporter?
It is online, however the range is limited to about 3 miles.
Just got my gmrs license. Just trying to figure out the 462mhz, 467mhz split on the repeaters. Is it 462mhz into a gmrs repeater, or 467mhz into the repeater? Pete
A listed in the second chart, 462 MHz is what you are receiving from the repeater, and 467Mhz is what you are sending to the repeater. This is why we recommend the Midland mobiles and Wouxun GMRS radios that are repeater capable. It's because you don't need to figure it out. They are pre-programmed into the repeater channels RPT-15-RPT22 for you already. All you need to do is assign a CTCSS tone or DCS code to the channel if needed and you're good to go.
It's 12.5khz but you can crank it up to 25khz.
Have fun!
You say "Bandwidth 25kHz" but then "Authorized bandwidth 20kHz". Is it 20kHz or 25kHz ?
Looking for mobile GMRS high power. To corner GMRS channels including repeaters.
Hi John, there are a number of mobile GMRS available from both Midland and Wouxun that will fit the bill. The Wouxun KG-1000G is our most popular GMRS mobile and widely considered to be the best on the market. The KG-1000G Plus was just released and is an upgrade over the original for only $20 more. The Wouxun KG-XS20G is also a solid mobile GMRS radio with a lot of advanced features, and in a more compact package. Any of these models will give you high power GMRS channels, including repeater channels.
