Business Itinerant Frequency License

I just wanted to thank Taylor and all the folk involved at Buy Two Way Radios for doing all the work in getting our Itinerant license. We are a fairly large church in Western North Carolina and already had a business license but needed a modification to add the Itinerant frequencies. We went with all the Continental lower 48 States, which BTW is no extra cost. For those inquiring as to how this takes, for us it took, from the day we submitted the PDF file with our information until the day our license was granted, it took 5 weeks and 1 day. Most of that time was waiting on the FCC to do their part. So, for anyone wanting this service, I highly recommend going with Buy Two Way Radios. Just summit the required information and be patient. First off, I have done a lot of business with Buy Two-Way Radios and have been very happy with them and I will continue to buy radios from them, but whoever is doing the licensing process is someone I would not trust to do business with again. I lost $400 and wasted months only to not get the license. I talked to the FCC and fine, I understand why, but the coordinator put down false info twice. The info sheet I was told to fill out to start the process requested very minimal information which would explain why the process was an absolute mess. Very disappointed in this service and will not use it again and absolutely would not recommend it to anyone.

Esy to work with and will give solutions every time

My company does contract work in many different states and many different locations like schools, army bases, city hall buildings, police stations, warehouses, etc. We decided that business radios would be helpful, but since we do work in these type of sensitive areas it was essential that we had the correct FCC License. Which turned out not be so easy. I talked to a local business radio company and several internet outlets over a few months and all of them agreed that they could get me a license but were either not sure what type or how much it would cost. It was all getting too confusing. I happend to call Buy Two Way Radios and talked to Chris Edwards and once again explained what we did and where we did it. Chris told me instantly that we needed an Itinerant FCC License, which was the first I had heard of an Itinerant License. He explained it all, sent me the forms, helped me fill them out, I faxed the forms to Chris and he sent them off. In three weeks I had my License. I guess that no other radio sales and licensing companies knew that to be licensed in many states you needed an Itinerant FCC License, which is strange because it says it right on the License.
